1 Year Old

9/10/2008

Logan is now 1 yr old and it makes me a little sad because I can't believe how fast the year has gone. We had an outrageously huge party on this birthday Sunday Sept. 7th. It was a dog theme. Just about all of our families were there and lots of friends too. Logan got so much stuff I have no idea where to put it all. He destroyed his cake (like there were any doubts that he wouldn't)- loved it! His favorite gift was his wagon from Grandma- it has been raining a lot so we have just been pushing it up and down the hall and he cries when it is time to get out. Todd took him to the Dr. for his 1 yr check up and he weighs 23lbs and is in good health- we have come a long way from the 5lb 15oz baby we brought home from the hospital. He eats everything in site and always wants more. We have gotten rid of the bottle and have moved on to real milk. Logan will take a few steps before he decides that crawling or should I say hopping on his knees is a faster way to get where he wants to go. He chatters non stop and still loves playing with his doggies.

11 months

8/7/2008

Logan is now 11 months old. I can't believe he will be 1 next month. We have had a busy month! Logan got to go and hang out at the golf tournament for awhile and cried when he lost his golf ball. We are getting ready to go on vacation to Table Rock Lake. This will be Logan's first time on a boat and we think he will love it. Then we are going into Springfield to the zoo. Logan is so close to walking- he is standing on his own but hasn't taken any more steps. He continues to chatter nonstop and can now clap his hands, give you high five, blow kisses, and shake his head no. (which is funny now but I'm sure I will soon be annoyed by it).

10 months

7/13/2008

Logan is now 10 months old and growing everyday. He is working on getting 4 more teeth- which is not fun!!! He is talking all the time even though Todd and I have no idea what he is saying. Logan took his first 2 steps yesterday from my leg to the corner of the sofa. He had no idea what he did and I got so excited I scared him. He hasn't done it again but he will let go of what he is holding on to and not even know it. I'm sure it won't be too long now.
